Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Salesforce CPQ Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. The
ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ implementation,
customization, and optimization. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful CPQ projects,
collaborating with clients to understand their needs, and delivering innovative solutions that align with business goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Salesforce CPQ Implementation: Lead and participate in end-to-end Salesforce CPQ implementation projects,
including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-
implementation support. - Solution Design: Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, gather requirements, and
translate them into comprehensive and efficient Salesforce CPQ solutions. Develop detailed technical
specifications and design documentation. - Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet the unique needs of each
client, leveraging your deep understanding of pricing, quoting, and product configuration processes. Implement
custom rules, product bundles, and pricing strategies. - Integration: Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data exchange between Salesforce CPQ and
other systems, such as CRM, ERP, and e-commerce platforms. - Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce CPQ best practices, keeping up-to-date with
the latest features and enhancements. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. - Stakeholder Engagement: Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide status updates, conduct
workshops, and gather feedback. Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor in Salesforce CPQ-
related matters. - Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the accuracy and
functionality of Salesforce CPQ configurations. Identify and resolve any issues or defects. - Training and Support: Provide training sessions to end-users and client teams on how to effectively use
Salesforce CPQ. Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and addressing inquiries. - Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of design, configuration, and customization
activities. Ensure that all processes, decisions, and solutions are well-documented for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 Years of Experience: Proven track record of at least 6 years in Salesforce CPQ implementation,
including hands-on experience with complex configuration, pricing, and quoting processes. - Salesforce CPQ Certification: Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Consultant certification is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Salesforce CPQ configuration, product rules, pricing, discounting, and quote
generation. Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce Lightning is a plus. - Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales and pricing strategies, business processes, and how Salesforce
CPQ aligns with overall business goals. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex technical
concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to quickly identify issues, provide
solutions, and make recommendations for improvements. - Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently when
required. Experience in mentoring junior consultants is a plus. - Client-Focused: Customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with
clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that exceed expectations. - Project Management: Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and
delivering high-quality results.
