The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. As a hunter, you are often the first point of contact for prospective clients, responsible for generating new business, sourcing, developing and qualifying opportunities through strategic, targeted outreach and working in partnership with internal sales and marketing teams as well as our partner teams at Salesforce. You will build key customer relationships and partnerships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of currentmarket conditions, business pain points across industries and functions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Commit to ongoing learning and development on Salesforce products, platforms, and services.
- Ability to plan and execute B2B GTM strategies for India (Primary Region) and ROW (Secondary Region).
- Good verbal and written communication to interact with Prospects and OEM partners over the phone, email, LinkedIn, and other communication channels.
- Open to travelling to enterprise prospect and customer meetings across India.
- Dual role of BDR and Hunter.
- Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
- MBA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 college mandatory.
- Cultivate industry wide strong business relationships with key decision makers and account management teams at Salesforce India.
- Must be able to proactively prospect for new leads and qualify them using BANT principle to move the qualified pipeline through the Sales cycle towards closure.
- Own and deliver the assigned target on a quarterly basis in the assigned territory.
- Must be a self-starter with a go getter attitude.
- Proactively identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers.
- Need to have end-to-end knowledge of sales processes.
- Must win attitude and willing to be customer advocate all the times.
- Ability to run marketing campaigns for demand generation.
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up.
- Building a point of view on how to help qualify customers’ needs.
- Speaking to value and return on investment vs. technical functionality.
- Establishing credibility and trust with internal and external partners.
- Demonstrating adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization.
- Create Salesforce solution assets for outbound Sales activities.
